I am curious and not afraid to try new things which is one of the reasons I spent 2002-2014 living and working abroad in Switzerland and Canada. I spent the greater part of my expat years studying or working with corporate communications at a larger international company with headquarters in Lausanne.

When moving to Canada studied corporate communications and from there I successfully owned my own company in the fields of Communications, Marketing, Social Media and PR.
I later took my company with me back to Switzerland when returning there in 2010.
I have a great passion for the digital part of my work and spend a lot of my time with social media both professional and privately.

As the Marketing Manager, content management for our company's many web pages is the main part of my work. I also developed and maintained the websites and wrote and created all printed and digital material.
I also design messages and write different types of content for other printed communications, presentations and sales material. Another of my duties is to create movies and design, coordinate our presence at various events.
In addition to that I worked as Project Manager with various logistics projects in Sweden and Denmark. My role was to create all communication material for the developer and make sure all interested parties received correct information for the final stage of the project when all tenants (stores) moved in and adapted their stores and until the opening day.

In this consultancy position as Web Coordinator I was working closely with the Marketing and Sales team within the Ikano Bank group. This involved a collaboration with Digital Store Managers, Content Managers and Front-end Developers where I created strategies and provided expertise on how the digital content should be presented in the best way.
In my role, I had primary responsibility for the content on ikanobank.se.
As Web Coordinator I built the editorial and graphical content of the web and published promotions and contests but also assisted in activities Ikano Bank were participating in with their partners i.e. Ikea, Audi, Lindex, Stadium, etc.

A little about me...
There are a few things in life that I am truly passionate about and I find it important to be able to combine these interests with what I do professionally.
This is where computers and IT come into focus as these are somethings that I love and with my Bachelor in Information Technology I believe that I have hit the spot.
Words are another passion of mine and I love to read and write. I find letters and words to be beautiful and I often play with words.
These first two passions both go hand in hand with my third love; social media. The combination of technology and words has proven irresistible to me and I have probably tried all new variations that are appearing regarding this way of communicating. Although I love innovations and am willing to try anything new, I have stayed true to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and yes, I am blogging as well.
All of these passions of mine I use in both my daily life as well as my professional. I find it important to help others to get their messages out to the public and social media is unquestionably one of the fastest, easiest and cheapest way to do it...and I have fun while doing it, which is the most important thing as I believe that if you love what you do, you will do the best job for you and your client.
